At Author Tinu, a confidence coach, we are committed to providing professional, ethical, and effective confidence coaching services to our clients. Our goal is to empower individuals to overcome adversity and achieve personal growth while ensuring their safety, confidentiality, and satisfaction. This policy outlines the terms, conditions, and regulations for paid clients to ensure transparency, compliance with legal standards, and the highest quality of service.
Regulations for Paid Clients
1. Service Scope and Purpose
Confidence coaching is a goal-oriented process designed to help clients build confidence, resilience, and personal empowerment.
Coaching services do not constitute therapy, counselling, or medical advice. Clients requiring mental health or therapeutic support will be referred to licensed professionals.
2. Client Agreement
All paid clients must sign a Client Agreement before the start of services. This document includes:
Description of coaching services
Roles and responsibilities of both the coach and the client
Payment terms and conditions
Cancellation and rescheduling policies
Confidentiality and data protection commitments
3. Payment Terms
Fees: Coaching fees will be outlined in the Client Agreement and must be paid in full or according to the agreed payment plan.
Invoices: Clients will receive invoices for all payments.
Refund Policy: Refunds will only be provided under the terms outlined in the Client Agreement, typically for unused sessions if cancellations comply with the cancellation policy.
Call Charges: Clients are charged £8.99 per call for coaching. This fee ensures that each call is booked with intention, helping to filter out timewasters and ensure both the client and coach are focused on achieving results.
4. Confidentiality
All personal information, session notes, and client discussions will be treated as strictly confidential.
Coaches will comply with relevant data protection laws, including GDPR (Europe) or CCPA (California).
Disclosure will only occur in cases where:
The client provides explicit written consent.
There is a legal obligation to report (e.g., risk of harm to the client or others).
5. Session Policies
Scheduling: Sessions must be booked in advance. A minimum of [48 hours] notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Lateness and No-Shows: Clients arriving late will only receive the remaining session time. No-shows will be charged the full session fee.
Session Format: Sessions may take place in-person, online, or over the phone, as agreed upon during the initial consultation.
6. Ethical Practices
Coaches will adhere to the highest ethical standards, including those set by recognized organizations such as the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Clients will be treated with respect, dignity, and without discrimination.
Coaches will only work within their areas of expertise and refer clients to other professionals when necessary.
7. Mandatory Reporting
If a client discloses information about abuse, self-harm, or harm to others, the coach is legally obligated to report this to the appropriate authorities.
8. Feedback and Evaluation
Clients are encouraged to provide feedback to improve the coaching process. Feedback may be submitted verbally, in writing, or via formal evaluations provided by the coach.
9. Marketing and Testimonials
Client testimonials may only be used in marketing materials with prior written consent from the client.
Marketing materials will not include exaggerated claims about outcomes and will be clear and transparent.
10. Termination of Services
Either the coach or client may terminate the coaching agreement with written notice, as specified in the Client Agreement.
Refunds for prepaid sessions will be processed in accordance with the terms outlined in the Client Agreement.
Policy Compliance
